Content Marketing Manager

Job Description:

As part of a high-performance team, the Content Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the creation of high-quality content for use in digital and print materials. The Content Marketing Manager is a digital athlete who recommends and implements communication initiatives and content strategy, both externally and internally. This will include product marketing collateral, website, media and public relations, digital ad campaigns, email marketing, and other external communications. This role will lead DMI’s social media and blog strategy and will work closely with the Campaign Manager to ensure brand/voice consistency across all lead/customer campaigns.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Write promotional content across email, direct mail, landing pages, ads, social media posts, etc., and provide strategic direction and guidance on the development of content to support the campaign (i.e. white papers, reports, presentations, videos)
  • Take lead in seeking and introducing ways to leverage content in new/improved channels as well as vehicles to strengthen relationships with clients/prospects and key external audiences
  • Contribute to implementation of online marketing strategy and content for DMI’s website.
  • Write press releases and identify firm thought leadership opportunities, prospects for press coverage, and ideas for articles and speaking engagements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key reporters and media professionals
  • Develop regular content for and oversee social media pages
  • Contribute to weekly department updates on DMI’s intranet
  • Manage firm blogs by compiling lists of topics, soliciting writers, editing drafts, and managing the approval process
  • Manage customer survey and satisfaction efforts within DMI’s survey platform and marketing automation system (HubSpot)
  • Identify appropriate content for product launches, marketing campaigns and overall corporate communication strategy
  • Write and edit client alerts, articles, and other published pieces; draft when appropriate. Proactively identify and analyze situations and problems, develop solutions, and provide follow-up throughout implementation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or Communications preferred; advanced degree a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience (B2B professional services marketing preferred)
  • Aptitude for persuasive writing for marketing communications; outstanding editing and proofreading skills
  • Experienced in all elements of marketing communications, content strategy, writing, project management, brainstorming, and presenting/selling ideas
  • Up to date on cutting-edge of professional services marketing communications techniques and emerging and social media tools to push initiatives to maximum efficiency and excellence
  • Able to flourish in a team environment and form effective working relationships with other administrative departments, staff, and external vendors
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to run multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of CRM and HubSpot preferred
  • Self-starter with excellent work ethic, outstanding judgment, attention to detail, and positive customer service attitude
  • Outstanding communication skills; ability to clearly articulate and deliver on program strategy, goals, and execution elements to multiple audiences; and be able to work as part of a team

Marketing and Events Coordinator

Job Description:

The Marketing and Events Coordinator is a service-minded role to help our clients execute their events in a seamless and in a highly organized fashion. The person in this role is personable and naturally enjoys helping others, in addition to being incredibly detail-oriented, organized, possess solid time management skills, excellent writing and listening skills, and has the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendor partners.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and distribute internal and external event marketing materials (calendars, flyers, best practice guides, event-related client resources)
  • Update client event calendars and event ROI to be shared with DMI executives
  • Manage advisor seminars and events to help retain and expand the business
  • Maintain relationships with event marketing vendors
  • Schedule “kick off” call with clients to review the seminar process and timeline
  • Conduct and participate in client discovery calls with seminar marketing vendors
  • Provide branded seminar materials for advisors
  • Effectively market the events across multiple platforms and find solutions to drive attendance
  • Assist advisor’s with development and execution for pre-event and post-event marketing strategy
  • Monitor and analyze clients and DMI’s event results to report on the effectiveness
  • Promote upcoming DMI events using social media
  • Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with partners
  • Identify new ways to track the event attendee and host pipeline
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on how to continually add value to our clients and grow DMI’s business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of professional experience with events marketing and social media
  • Experience with professional event coordination ad collaborating with outside vendors
  • A natural interest in helping/supporting others

Internal Wholesaler

Job Description:

The Internal Wholesaler’s primary responsibility is to support a team of inside and outside sales professionals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar sales support role in either the financial services or insurance industries. This role will report directly to the Vice President – Sales.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work directly with our financial professionals on behalf of our sales team providing sales service and support, product information, etc.
  • Build internal and external relationships while assisting in maintaining “DMI house” book of business
  • Make outbound phone calls to clients and prospects
  • Execute case intakes from our advisor clients and/or appropriate product recommendations
  • Run customized sales proposals for life insurance, annuity or other insurance or financial products utilizing multiple software platforms
  • Create sales packages for both digital and hard-copy distribution to our prospects and clients
  • Maintain sales literature supplies with current up-to-date materials
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for client applications, account statuses and relevant problems
  • Provide data and guides to help the sales team
  • Develop and monitor performance indicators
  • Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
  • Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure the sales team is on board
  • Review pending applications and specific client requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
  • Plan, coordinate and execute sales events both onsite and offsite
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight time deadlines

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensing & Contracting/ Commissions Specialist

Job Description:

DMI is looking for a full-time Contracting and Commissions Specialist for our Insurance Operations team. In this role a candidate would split responsibilities, as necessary, between licensing and contracting, and a variety of commissions related functions, with the majority of time spent on L&C matters. You would work along with New Business Case Management, Contracting, and Commissions team members to support our financial professionals. An ideal candidate would be local to our headquarters in the greater Boston area, but proximity to our office is not a prerequisite. If your qualifications are deemed to be a good fit for our organization, you will be considered regardless of geographic location as a candidate to work remotely.

Duties of the Licensing & Contracting/Commissions Specialist include:

  • Maintaining current contracting data in our CMS (contract level, hierarchy, etc.)
  • Ensuring hierarchy information is correct and up to date
  • Reviewing contracting and appointment paperwork for completeness and accuracy
  • Processing contract paperwork with life and annuity carriers
  • Notifying agents and/or recruiters of missing paperwork
  • Working directly with agents regarding contracting materials and appointment process
  • Assisting with onboarding of new agents
  • Maintaining a variety of broker dealer contracting requirements
  • Taking ownership of maintaining carrier commission schedules
  • Reconciling commission statements
  • Working with agents on commission inquiries and issues
  • Calculating commissions monthly for internal sales consultants
  • Ensuring all SLA’s are met consistently
  • Various reporting tasks

Requirements of the role:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience in an insurance contracting and/or commissions role
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Ability to anticipate problems and come up with solutions without explicit guidance
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest process improvements
